Technical Supervisor
Dr. John Ramos graduated from Columbia University with a doctorate in Molecular Biochemistry and
Biophysics and Masters degrees in Physics and Biological Sciences. He also graduated from the University
of California at Los Angeles with Bachelors degrees in Neuroscience and Engineering Physics. He was a
Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in the Department of Biophysics
and a Molecular Biologist at the University of Florida and in the U.S. Department of Agriculture,
Agricultural Research Service.Dr. Ramos’s research experience involves determining the mechanistic and
kinetic processes of ATP Binding Cassette transmembrane transporters using Fluorescence Spectroscopy,
X-Ray Crystallography, and Mass Spectroscopy. In addition, he has investigated vesicular SNARE proteins
using Atomic Force Microscopy and Confocal Microscopy. Furthermore, Dr. Ramos implemented one Agricultural
Research Station’s first Next Generation Sequencing facility for the purpose of Whole Genome
Sequencing.
During the pandemic Dr. Ramos opened one of the first Covid-19 PCR testing facilities
in the City of Hollywood Florida benefiting the local community by testing entire Fire Departments, Police
Departments and Schools.
Laboratory Operations Director
Steven M. Crespo-Carbone holds an M.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University and The University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, with research in melanoma. He is a genomics and variant interpretation curation scientist with extensive experience in pharmaceutical drug research and development, as well as in clinical genomics. He has expertise in genetic testing in reproductive health for hereditary diseases and cancer. Steven has worked at prestigious institutions such as Baylor Genetics Labs, SEMA4 Laboratories, and Bioreference Labs/GeneDx. His skills include genetic sequencing analysis and curation, molecular biology, infectious diseases, cancer biology, and genetic expression investigative toxicology. Steven has contributed to FDA clinical trials and multiple-phase antibiotic clinical trials, helping develop the molecular portion of the Idylla TM RT-PCR platform for respiratory viruses identification. environments, as demonstrated through her roles at various fertility practices. Her expertise includes
ICSI, Trophectoderm Biopsy, INVOcell, Egg Vit, and Cell Culture.

in the IVF lab, Alease is a passionate educator and content creator, leveraging her extensive knowledge to

In her teaching

Jahmar Hudson is a highly skilled Molecular Scientist, with years of extensive experience in medical
laboratory testing. Adhering to TJC, OSHA, and FDA guidelines, Jahmar is recognized for his precision,
efficiency, and quality-focused approach. His journey began as a nursing student, where he received his
BSN shortly after graduating secondary school. Jahmar obtained his master’s in nursing from Columbia
University and a host of certificates from Yale University, with concentrations in OB/GYN and Labour and
Delivery. His desire to work in the laboratory quickly grew as he would spend majority of his shifts
assisting the scientists with blood collections and any other capacity, as long as he remained in the lab.
Jahmar’s inspiration and unquenchable thirst to further educate himself, would lead him to acquire a
Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John’s University, a Bachelor's in Biotechnology and
Biopharmaceutical Science from Miami Dade College, Master's in Microbiology and Cell Science from the
University of Florida, currently pursing his doctoral degree in Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases at
Walden University.

he held the position of Director of Preimplantation Genetic Testing and Oocyte Vitrification.
Under his leadership, Main Line is credited with the first live birth in the Delaware Valley from
vitrified oocytes and the pioneering live birth of an embryo screened with next-generation sequencing.
Dr. Taylor furthered his contributions through dissertation research on Preimplantation Genetics at the
